About the Role

As a
Release Manager Lead
, you'll own the complete release management process — from planning and scheduling to stakeholder coordination and risk mitigation. You'll ensure all releases are delivered successfully, on time, and with zero back-outs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end release management for infrastructure projects in the banking domain.
  • Manage release calendar, scheduling, and stakeholder communications.
  • Track progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Handle escalations and resolve issues arising during release activities.
  • Deliver regular reporting on release performance and timelines.
  • Ensure 100% success rate in planned releases without business disruption.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 10–15 years of total experience, with at least 10 years in
    Release Management
    for
    infrastructure projects
    .
  • Strong background in
    Unix
    and
    SQL
    .
  • Proven track record in
    stakeholder management
    ,
    risk mitigation
    , and
    release scheduling
    .
  • Excellent
    verbal and written communication
    skills.
  • Hands-on experience in the
    banking or BFSI domain
    .

Good-to-Have

  • ITIL Certification
    (Foundation or higher).
  • Prior exposure to
    expat assignments
    or global delivery environments.
