Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role for a Junior Developer located in Michigan City, IN. The Junior Developer will be responsible for assisting in the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. Daily tasks include writing and debugging code, conducting software testing, collaborating with senior developers, and participating in code reviews. The role requires working closely with the development team to ensure software quality and performance.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and or React-Native.
  • If you are missing knowledge of one of the languages above, you should be able to learn it on the job.
  • Experience with web development technologies including HTML, CSS (Tailwind CSS), and JavaScript ) and Flask. Will consider candidates even if they do not know all of the above.
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL. (We have been using Supabase (PostGreSQL) for our web applications and android apps)
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Previous internships or projects related to software development are a plus.
  • Drive and self motivation is a key factor in the candidate. Learning on and off the job to further yourself is a must.
