Qualifications:

  • Must be a Certified Safety Officer (COSHP/BOSH/OSHC trained) as required by DOLE
  • Graduate of Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or any related course (preferred but not required)
  • With at least [3-5] years of experience in workplace safety, preferably in a manufacturing/construction setting
  • Knowledgeable in DOLE, OSHC, and other government compliance standards
  • Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills
  • Physically fit and able to conduct regular site inspections

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with DOLE and government safety regulations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety programs and policies
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments
  • Lead safety trainings, orientations, and toolbox meetings
  • Investigate and report workplace incidents/accidents with proper documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of safety audits, permits, and compliance reports
  • Coordinate with management to promote a safe and healthy work environment
