About the role

Sodexo On-Site Services Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Safety Officer to join our team in Iloilo City. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety and environmental policies and procedures at our Tap-Oc, Molo site in Iloilo City.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify and address potential health, safety and environmental risks
  • Developing and delivering safety training programmes for employees
  • Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on health, safety and environmental performance
  • Liaising with regulatory authorities and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and encouraging safe behaviours across the site

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence employees at all levels
  • Proficient in using safety management software and data analysis tools
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills to effectively manage safety-related incidents
  • Positive attitude and a genuine commitment to promoting a safe working environment
