About the role

CM & SONS FOOD PRODUCTS INC. (Merzci) is seeking a dedicated QA/QC Officer to join our growing team in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our food products, playing a crucial part in upholding our commitment to excellence.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting regular quality control checks and inspections throughout the production process
  • Implementing and monitoring quality assurance protocols to maintain high standards
  • Analysing product samples to identify and resolve any quality issues
  • Collaborating with the production team to identify and implement process improvements
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation of quality control activities
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and industry standards
  • Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related scientific field
  • With at least 3 - 5 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or food safety within the food manufacturing industry in a management role is essential
  • Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and quality control procedures
  • Ability to effectively communicate with management, team members, and regulatory agencies
  • The ability to identify, analyze, and resolve quality-related issues
  • A keen eye for detail is essential for identifying potential problems and ensuring accuracy in quality control procedures
  • Willing to work at Hervias Village II, Villamonte, Bacolod City
