Job Description

The Project Development Officer is responsible for supporting the planning, development, coordination, and monitoring of projects from conceptualization to implementation. The role involves coordination with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects are technically feasible, compliant, and delivered on schedule.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related field
  • At least 2–4 years experience in project development, construction, EPC, or infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of project planning, feasibility analysis, and coordination processes
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); project management tools is an advantage
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Willing to travel to project sites if required

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to clients the Hansei capabilities and services.
  2. Work with the client and analyze their requirement to ensure that the suggested/recommended Hansei solutions is the best and doable to implement.
  3. Collaborates with the client regarding the Terms of Reference, and other requirements and timelines for submission of Hansei proposal.
  4. Collaborates with other Hansei business units in developing Hansei technical and commercial proposals, Manages proposals and contract.
  5. Reviews memoranda, reports, and correspondence submitted and formulated specifically for the project being implemented.
  6. After award of contract, leads in conducting transfer engineering meeting between different Hansei business units prior to actual implementation of the project.
  7. Organizes and directs actual inspection of project sites and collaborates with the accountable/responsible Project Managers of the facilities in gathering data and assessing technical problems that will be needed and considered in the technical proposals,
  8. Conduct continuous research to keep abreast with the latest industry technology.
  9. Performs other tasks that may be assigned.
