The Payments and Settlement Officer is responsible for overseeing internal and external payment and settlement systems to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant transaction processing. This role involves coordinating with multiple departments, maintaining operational controls, and driving process improvements to support the organization's financial operations.

  • Handle system authorization for internal and local payments and settlement systems.
  • Support other departments in inquiries and transaction-related documentation.
  • Design and implement efficient workflows in coordination with upstream and downstream units.
  • Identify operational risks and establish controls to mitigate them.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and flowcharts.
  • Manage continuous improvement projects and communicate measurable outcomes.
  • Generate operational reports and track process performance metrics.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of payment data, reconciliation, and settlement reports.
