The
Transaction Control & Settlements Group Specialist
is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate settlement of funds between partners and Vantage. This role involves reconciling branch transactions, organizing settlement components, and resolving any disputes to ensure proper financial recording.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation & Settlement:
    Perform reconciliation and settlement for all products and partners, including principal amounts and commissions.
  • Financial Reporting:
    Provide settlement information that is "fit to book" for key stakeholders.
  • Dispute Resolution:
    Resolve disputes with branches and partners by elevating issues to partner counterparts and communicating effectively with branches and sub-agents.
  • Transaction Validation:
    Validate and reconcile branch transactions to cash, addressing any shortages, overages, branch expenses, cash deliveries, cash deposits, and accountability reports.
  • Process Improvement:
    Document and improve transaction processes and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Communication:
    Above-average business communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience:
    Experience in banks, money changers, remittance companies, and other financial institutions is preferred.
