
Part-Time Sales Executive

MAGWAI is seeking a driven, results-oriented Sales Executive to lead our growth in the Visayas and Mindanao regions. This role is key to expanding our presence by acquiring new clients and nurturing existing partner relationships. Your primary focus will be securing new business in the
travel retail sector
(concept stores, dive shops, resort gift shops, pharmacies in key beach destinations) and establishing
B2B partnerships with resorts
for MAGWAI guest amenities.
You will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of the sales strategy for your portfolio. Success requires strong business acumen, identifying growth opportunities, and excellent negotiation skills. As the key contact for your accounts, you will build strong relationships and connect stakeholders. This is a remote position, however,
residency in Bohol is required
to facilitate client visits.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- New Business Development:
Research, identify, prospect, and acquire new clients within target segments (Travel Retail & B2B Resorts). - Account Management:
Develop, manage, and nurture relationships with new and existing retailers/accounts in line with MAGWAI's brand strategy. - Sales Performance:
Drive account performance by identifying business opportunities and implementing effective sales-generating activities (promotions, merchandising, O+O activations). - Strategic Planning:
Build and lead category reviews, ensuring strategic alignment with clients. - Analysis & Reporting:
Collect and analyze sales data to monitor performance, identify trends, and provide regular weekly/monthly reports. - Execution & Operations:
Ensure regular outlet ordering, manage effective in-store/on-site merchandising, and secure trade agreements. - Client Relationship Building:
Establish strong partnerships by providing relevant market insights, sharing opportunities, and recommending improvements; act as the account expert. - Collaboration:
Serve as the liaison between the client and internal MAGWAI teams (Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance) to support business planning. - Process Improvement:
Help establish and refine sales systems and processes for efficiency. - Communication:
Lead regular sales calls (often virtual) and conduct physical field visits (1-2x month) for performance and activity updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Proven sales experience (
minimum 2-3 years preferred
), ideally within FMCG, B2B, hospitality supplies, or travel retail sectors. - Location & Travel:
Must currently reside in Cebu and be willing/able to travel 1-2 times per month within Visayas and Mindanao. - Tech Savvy & AI Curious:
Proficient in MS Office (intermediate Excel desirable). Comfortable using or learning new technologies, including company-provided AI tools to enhance sales processes. - Communication Skills:
Proficient in English with excellent written, verbal presentation, and negotiation skills. - Interpersonal Skills:
Superb interpersonal skills, commitment to excellent customer service, and ability to quickly build rapport with stakeholders. - Results-Oriented:
