Location: Remote (Philippines-Based)

Rate: $3.50 USD per hour

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to manage a comprehensive product data compilation and upload project. This is a project-based contract role requiring meticulous attention to detail and strong Shopify expertise. You will be responsible for organizing approximately 2,000 product lines into parent/variation structures and executing bulk uploads to our Shopify store.

Key Responsibilities

· Compile and organize 2,000+ product lines into parent products with multiple variations

· Ensure accurate data entry for all product details including titles, descriptions, images, and specifications

· Structure product variants correctly (size, color, material, etc.) within Shopify's framework

· Prepare and execute bulk uploads using Shopify's bulk upload functionality

· Conduct quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all product listings

· Troubleshoot and resolve any upload errors or data formatting issues

· Maintain organized documentation of product data and upload progress

· Communicate regularly on project status and any challenges encountered

Required Qualifications
Experience

· Minimum 2 years of data entry experience with proven accuracy and efficiency

· Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Shopify bulk uploads

· Demonstrated experience managing products with multiple variations (essential requirement)

· Track record of handling large-scale product data projects

Technical Skills

· Expert-level proficiency with Shopify's bulk upload system and CSV formatting

· Strong understanding of product variant structures and parent-child relationships

· Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills (formulas, data manipulation, formatting)

· Ability to identify and correct data inconsistencies and errors

· Familiarity with e-commerce product taxonomy and attributes

Language Requirements

· Excellent written and spoken English - this is critical for ensuring quality data entry and clear communication

· Strong attention to grammar, spelling, and formatting in English

· Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision

· Reliable internet connection and professional home office setup

Project Scope

This is a project-based contract with the following scope:

· Approximately 2,000 product lines to be processed

· Products must be organized into parent/variation structures

· All product details must be accurately entered and formatted

· Bulk upload to Shopify must be completed successfully

· Contract duration depends on completion timeline (estimated based on your efficiency)

· Potential for extension of contract depending on client's needs for other supplier data uploads

Compensation

$3.50 USD per hour for qualified candidates who meet all requirements. Payment terms to be discussed during the interview process.
