What does an IT Security Analyst IV - Cloud and App Security do?

Sealed Air Shared Service (Philippines) Inc. is looking for a skilled and proactive IT Security Analyst IV - Cloud and App Security to join our IT Security team. responsible for protecting SEE's information assets and mitigating cyber risks. The security department prioritizes incident response preparedness and operational excellence. Individuals working in IT Security will perform readiness assessments, enhance incident response processes, performance, and improve key performance metrics. The department also leverages threat intelligence, manages vulnerabilities, ensures compliance, and provides regular training and simulations. By prioritizing these areas, IT Security supports SEE's strategic goals and safeguards critical assets from cyber threats.

  • Participate in cloud security assessments to identify and mitigate risks within SEE's cloud environments.
  • Implement and manage cloud security controls to ensure data protection and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of cloud security policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure deployment and configuration of cloud resources.
  • Monitor cloud environments for security events and respond to incidents promptly.
  • Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability management specifically for cloud platforms.
  • Perform detailed forensic analysis of cloud-based systems to understand breaches and their impacts.
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of the incident response process, ensuring effective actions across the Security Operations Center (SOC) team.
  • Provide input on cloud security architecture and design to enhance the organization's overall security posture.
  • Stay informed about emerging cloud security threats and trends, leveraging external expertise and threat intelligence.
  • Assist with the refinement of security policies, procedures, and playbooks to standardize incident response and security operations.
  • Provide strategic insights and regular reports to senior management on cloud security performance, emerging threats, and security trends.

Expertise Needed:

  • Cloud Security: Cloud security architecture, risk assessment, security controls, compliance.
  • Advanced Threat Detection: Threat hunting, intrusion detection, and SIEM tools.

  • Security Architecture: Security design, risk assessment, architectural review.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
  • 8 years of work experience minimum
  • 2 to 4 years of specialty experience minimum
  • Strong verbal and written communications; ability to analyze large volumes of information and define "the big picture".
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Business and financial acumen.
  • Experience in working with internal and external, local and global team members to deliver results.
  • Can work effectively with remote teams across multiple time zones
