Your Role:
As a HR Administrator, You Will
- HR Workflows & Contract Management
- Manages HR workflows including changes to employment status, employee exits, cost centre management etc.
- Management of all manual Change of Status requests ensuring appropriate approvals have been obtained
- Drafting of all employment contracts as requested, ensuring adherence to specific industrial instruments
- Challenges inadequacies in contract or change of status requests and escalates where required to ensure compliance and adherence to guidelines
- Ensures all workflows are actioned in a timely manner
- HR Administration & Systems
- Manages the HRIS and ensures data integrity
- Maintains personnel files and employee records in the HR drive and ensure all paperwork throughout the employment lifecycle is correctly issued and stored
- Assists with drafting of employment letters, statements of service, ad hoc letter requests etc.
- Recruitment & Onboarding Support
- Assists with conducting thorough phone screens potential candidates prior to progressing their application
- Assists with booking both one-on-one and group interviews for screened candidates and deploys sufficient and timely communication to notify of interview
- Conducts reference checks and other verification checks (i.e. fit 2 work checks) as required under company policy
- Distributes unsuccessful emails to candidates where required
- Supports the drafting of Employment Contracts for new hires and deploys and checks onboarding paperwork
- Conducts compliance checks on new starters and ensure relevant certificates, Work Entitlements, Application forms, Reference checks etc are received and completed prior to Onboarding
- Conducts Onboarding for new starters
- General Duties
- Maintains a thorough understanding of relevant legislation in relation to workplace practices to facilitate efficient operations and ensure compliance
- Ensures all work is carried out with integrity and adheres to workplace policies and procedures
- Monitors best practice business practices and provides feedback for improvement or alignment
- Adheres to and role models the Company values & policies at all times
- Identify opportunities for development and work with manager to execute, where applicable
- Complete any other reasonable directives as given by your Manager
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- Experience in in problem solving, decision making, and conflict resolution.
- Clear and articulate verbal and written English communication skills.
- Call Center Experience highly regarded.
- Facets of HR and analysis skills experience required.
Preferred skills/expertise
- High level interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus and the capacity to follow tasks through to completion
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills
- Numerical ability and accurate data entry skills
- Intermediate computer skills (Word and Excel)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision
