Job Summary:

The Accountant/Payroll Officer is responsible for overseeing financial transactions and ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for deployed employees. This role is critical in supporting the manpower agency's financial integrity and compliance with government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Duties:

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and statements.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely billing and payment.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Coordinate with auditors and assist in audit processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local tax laws (BIR, VAT, etc.).
  • Manage petty cash, reimbursements, and expense liquidations.

Payroll Duties:

  • Process payroll for regular and deployed employees, including computation of wages, overtime, and deductions.
  • Prepare and file government remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
  • Handle payroll adjustments, final pay computation, and clearance coordination.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee timesheets.
  • Coordinate with HR regarding new hires, resignations, and employee status changes.
  • Address payroll-related queries and concerns from employees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting and payroll,
  • Knowledge of government statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.

Pay: Php35, Php45,000.00 per month
