Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Payroll Associate located in Mandaluyong City, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Payroll Associate is responsible for accurately processing payroll, managing payroll taxes, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Day-to-day tasks include handling payroll inquiries, preparing payroll reports, and maintaining payroll records. The role also involves collaborating with other departments and ensuring efficient payroll operations.


• Manage and process monthly government statutory payment


• Monitors and collects necessary data from employees to be compliant with benefits processing and filing with government agencies wherever applicable


• Contribute as subject matter expert by applying technical expertise in processing all taxation requirements, shadow payroll, global tax return authorization list, income information for year-end 

reporting, mobility processing, and relevant reporting. 


• Work with tax vendors to track social security certificates of coverage and to ensure shadow payroll is processed on a timely basis . 


• Initiate and manage key mobility coordination, documentation, and updates with BIPO PH's accredited partners, internal customers, and stakeholders. 


• Support in the preparation of multiple reports and provide complex analysis, insights, and recommendations. 


• Assist and communicate critical statutory and compensation related requirements and coordination with relevant payroll teams. 


• Assist and process all tax requirements such as shadow payroll, global tax return authorization list, compensation collection for tax returns, and income information for year-end reporting. 


• Assess identified issues and collate documentation to assist in investigating and resolve complex issues and keep the Team Lead/Manager updated for open or ongoing concerns 

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Payroll Management and Payroll Processing
  • Knowledge of Payroll Taxes and Accounting
  • Strong Communication skills and ability to handle payroll inquiries effectively
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in payroll processing
  • Experience in using payroll software and HR Management Systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
  • 1- 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
