Finance Supervisor with OLP experience

We are seeking for Finance Supervisor to join our start-up team which targets to serve for newly set-up financing entity and will be reporting to Finance Manager. This role involves overseeing daily accounting operations, managing accounts receivable and payable, and ensuring tax compliance, particularly related to lending activities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and responsibility, with a willingness to embrace the unique challenges of a start-up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily accounting operations, including invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, and journal entries.
  • Match incoming payments and prepare wire reports for accounts payable.
  • Assist in monthly and quarterly financial closes, including journal entries and variance analysis.
  • Maintain organized documentation and filing systems for financial records.
  • Support external audit processes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including invoice issuance and filing related to lending activities.
  • Prepare and submit relevant documents to local authorities, such as BIR and SEC.
  • Enter daily payment information into online banking systems.
  • Liaise with local banks and assist HQ with banking needs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in financial-related fields (accounting, banking, treasury, tax).
  • Strong understanding of tax compliance related to lending.
  • Excellent character traits: energetic, enthusiastic, committed, team-oriented, and strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated career stability, particularly in recent roles.
  • Willingness to thrive in a start-up environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a start-up setting.
  • Exposure to overseas transactions or working environments.
  • Background in the fintech industry.
