JOB QUALIFICATION :

Education : Preferably with Mechanical Engineering background

Skills : Leadership, Computer Literate, Knowledgeable in operating section's machines available at CMRMC

Training: ISO Awareness, Preferably with Supervisory Training

Experience: Advantageous if with 3 years experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

COSWORTH MANAGEMENT SYTEM

  1. Follow safety and environmental compliance in all work practices.

  2. Review job orders and clarify specifications if needed prior to job run.

  3. Prepare / Involve in purchase requisition / request for work orders based on Job Order Review Form.

  4. Issue Material Issuance Slips (MIS) to section members for stock consumables needed on the project.

  5. Implement and control the production schedule given by the Planner. Review and suggest schedule adjustment where needed.

  6. Determine manpower requirement upon review of production schedule. Request if there is a shortage, report to superior if there's excess.

  7. Develop and recommend improvements on production facility, equipment, procedures to improve quality, efficiency, and safety.

  8. Maintain good housekeeping at a high level within the section. Implement 5S before, during and after work hours.

  9. Accomplish issued Corrective Action Report (CAR) and coordinate to superior and concerned section member.

SUPERIOR

10.Actively report to the Operations Manager. This includes verbal and written report.

  1. Provide ongoing input to Operations Manager and Planner regarding job status and unusual or serious situations.

  2. Provide planning and decision to equipment usage, preventive maintenance, modification and procurement.

  3. Suggest to Operations Manager regarding trainings that will benefit the employees and Section.

SUBORDINATE

  1. Monitor overall job status under the section.

  2. Verify workmanship of team members.

  3. Provide guidance, strategies and techniques to section members who need help.

  4. Operate production's machine or equipment as necessary to help your section members.

  5. Review section members' job order history card and correct data if necessary.

  6. Work overtime when necessary to help and motivate your section.

  7. Resolve personnel problem, complaints and grievances at the first level.

  8. Evaluate section member's performance, prepare performance evaluation report, and discipline if necessary.

  9. Responsible for knowing the status of all jobs in process by reviewing and analyzing job history card.

  10. Responsible in ensuring section members work in a safe environment in your area.

GENERAL

  1. Perform other tasks required that may not be written down in this job description to fulfill role as a Section Head.

25. Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time approved by the Management.
