Role Summary

The Designer is expected to develop 3D concepts and technical drawings that align with client requirements and production capabilities. This role includes estimating materials such as boards, laminates, and hardware, ensuring that each design is buildable and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce 3D designs and technical drawings using SketchUp, AutoCAD, and rendering tools
  • Prepare complete shop drawings with accurate dimensions, sections, and hardware detailing
  • Estimate board usage, laminates, and other materials based on design specifications
  • Collaborate with the Estimator and Inventory Coordinator to validate material requirements
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager and Production Supervisor to ensure feasibility of designs
  • Revise drawings based on feedback and internal quality checks
  • Participate in project briefings and site visits as necessary
