Truck Driver

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Listen and comply to the instructions of Administrative & Logistics Support Section Head.

Actively report to the Administrative & Logistics Support Staff in behalf of the Administrative & Logistics Support Section Head.

Follow all safe work practices.

Prepare vehicle request form and seek signature of Admin & Logistics Section Head.

Check vehicle condition before leaving company premises.

Request money from accounting section if applicable.

Double check materials, items, consumables to be loaded in the company vehicle. Verify quantity and description written on itinerary and delivery receipt against actual items.

Load goods, material, or items for delivery in the delivery vehicle.

Pick up / Deliver materials, consumables, items from one establishment to another.

Drive an assigned route to transport individuals to and from various locations.

Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivering goods.

Constantly communicate with Administrative and Logistics Support Staff regarding itinerary updates and/or changes.

Be courteous and respectful with customers and suppliers.

Return customer signed documents to Administrative and Logistics Support staff.

Properly unload picked up items in the Receiving Area or other designated area as per advise of Operations Manager.

Inform Administrative and Logistics Support staff regarding location of picked up items.

Report to mechanic and Vehicle Maintenance Head if there are vehicle concerns.

Assist mechanic in troubleshooting vehicle concerns.

1. Ensure the confidentiality of all handled records and documents.

2. Actively participate in meetings and company activities.

3. Work overtime when necessary.

Responsible for ensuring that scheduled delivery of goods, materials, or items are delivered completely and on time.

Responsible for maintaining the good condition of goods, materials, or items while in transit.

1. Responsible for the safety of passenger.

2. Responsible in ensuring a safe work environment in the section's area.

3. Responsible for contributing in attaining section's Quality Objective.

4. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicles.

5. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in section's area.

6. Perform other tasks required that may not be written down in this job description to fulfill role as a Driver

30. Perform other tasks assigned from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php695.00 per day
