Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Finance & Accounting Associate to be a pivotal member of our Finance Department. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work setup, combining remote work with essential on-site presence at our Taguig office based on business needs. The successful candidate will report directly to the Country Manager and be crucial for managing our local books of accounts, ensuring meticulous compliance with Philippine tax laws and BIR regulations, and providing essential support for financial reporting and daily operations. Key Responsibilities:

Comprehensive Bookkeeping & Financial Records Management:

Maintain and diligently update all local books of accounts, including General Journal, General Ledger, Cash Receipts Book, Cash Disbursements Book, Sales Book, and Purchase Book.

Ensure meticulous manual filing and proper documentation of all financial transactions in strict compliance with BIR regulations.

Perform timely bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure continuous financial accuracy.

Philippine Tax & BIR Compliance:

Ensure unwavering adherence to Philippine tax laws, BIR regulations, and local compliance standards in all bookkeeping practices.

Prepare and submit required financial reports, summaries, and tax filings on a regular and timely basis.

Financial Operations & Reporting Support:

Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions efficiently and accurately.

Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, including billing, collection follow-ups, and efficient vendor payment processing.

Support invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely issuance to clients or customers.
-
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, various financial reports, and supporting documentation as required.

Provide support during monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

Contribute to budget monitoring and expense tracking initiatives.

Procurement Assistance:

Provide dedicated assistance in procurement tasks, such as tracking purchase orders, liaising effectively with vendors, and verifying deliveries.

Internal Controls & Audit Collaboration:
-
Help ensure strict compliance with internal controls and financial policies set by the company.

Collaborate effectively with external accountants or auditors when necessary, providing requested documentation and support.

Accounting Software & Data Management:
-
Utilize accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar systems) proficiently to manage and maintain financial data.

Maintain and organize all financial files, both digital and physical, ensuring easy accessibility and confidentiality.

Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.

At least 2-3 years of proven experience in a combined bookkeeping, finance support, or accounting role in a Philippine setting.

CPA license is NOT required.

Solid and current knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR regulations, and local compliance standards is essential.

Demonstrated experience in manual bookkeeping and meticulous document filing is required.

Strong familiarity with accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.

Familiarity with finance and procurement processes (AR/AP, purchasing, invoicing).

Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational, and excellent time-management skills.

High level of integrity, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Work Setup Requirement: This position offers a hybrid work setup. Candidates must have their own reliable computer (laptop/PC) and a stable internet connection to support remote work. Willingness to work on-site at our Taguig office as required by business needs is also essential.
