Role Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven
Accounting Associate
to join our Finance team. This role is designed to be flexible and may support responsibilities in
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
or
General Ledger (GL)
, depending on business needs and the candidate's strengths. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to broaden their accounting and finance experience and grow in a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual
    financial closing process
    , including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Assist in preparing
    management reports, budgets, and forecasts
    to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyze
    financial performance and trends
    , highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial data with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, review, and validate financial information.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives within the Finance team to streamline reporting and controls.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support for management requests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Accounting, FP&A, or related finance role (fresh graduates with strong internships will also be considered).
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems or financial tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
