About the Role:
We are a fast-growing FMCG company distributing skincare products nationwide, currently serving 12,000 retail accounts across the Philippines. With a sales force composed of Key Account Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Area Sales Supervisors, and Merchandisers, we are expanding rapidly and upgrading our commercial organization.
We are looking for a transformative Head of Sales to lead our Modern Trade & General Trade Channel with a large field force, strengthen our national distribution, and elevate our brand into its next phase of growth. This role is perfect for a strong, hands-on leader who can embrace change and inspire the team to challenge the status quo. The right candidate will improve our sales processes, introduce better ways of working, and build a high-performing sales organization that's ready for the future.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the improvement of the entire sales organization by upgrading go-to-market plans, customer engagement approaches, and retail execution standards. Take full responsibility for the channel's P&L and drive sustainable growth using data-driven decisions.
- Create and implement forward-thinking sales strategies for pricing, trade deals, and promotions. Enhance team effectiveness by introducing better tools, processes, and technologies.
- Build a strong partnership with retailers and elevate joint business planning to a more collaborative and growth-focused level. Identify new opportunities to increase sales through channel innovation and portfolio optimization.
- Manage route planning, store segmentation, and account distribution to maximize productivity, ensure high-value stores are visited appropriately, and maintain balanced coverage across all accounts.
- Lead and motivate a high-performing team through change, encouraging adaptability, resilience, and a growth mindset. Coach and mentor team members to develop future leaders, and promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Job Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma/Master's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, or equivalent.
- At least 15 years of experience in FMCG Sales, with strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen. Proven success in leading transformation initiatives and delivering commercial impact.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change, influence cross-functional teams, and drive organizational alignment.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and financial skills, with experience managing complex budgets and trade investments.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage senior and internal stakeholders.
