This role involves coordinating maintenance services, managing office supplies, ensuring health and safety compliance, and supporting the overall functioning of the facility. The role combines traditional administrative duties with facilities management responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations across both areas.
Office Maintenance & Upkeep:
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations, ensuring the office environment is clean, safe, and functional.
- Coordinate routine maintenance services and ensure that all equipment is in working order.
- Address facility-related issues promptly, such as broken equipment, furniture repairs, and safety hazards.
Building Safety & Security:
- Ensure the building meets safety standards by scheduling regular inspections.
Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including maintaining first aid kits, emergency supplies, and signage.
- Conduct routine health and safety inspections and report any issues to the manager or relevant department.
Inventory & Supply Management:
- Maintain office supply inventories, ensuring that essential items are well-stocked.
- Coordinate the procurement of office supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and inventory control.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in office administration, facilities management, or a similar role.
