Trade Marketing Admin Associate supports the trade marketing team in organizing, executing, and monitoring marketing activities that promote products in the retail or distribution channels. The role involves assisting with the coordination of trade promotions, managing marketing materials, conducting market research, and providing administrative support to ensure the success of trade marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Trade Promotion Support:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of trade marketing campaigns and promotions, including point-of-sale (POS) materials, in-store events, and product displays.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure timely delivery of promotional materials, signage, and samples to retail locations.
  • Track and monitor the execution of trade promotions, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon strategies and objectives.

Marketing Materials Management:

  • Maintain inventory of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, and branded merchandise used in trade promotions.
  • Coordinate the distribution and replenishment of marketing materials to retailers and distributors.
  • Ensure that all marketing materials are up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with brand guidelines.

Data Collection and Reporting:

  • Assist in collecting and organizing data related to trade marketing campaigns, sales figures, and market trends.
  • Prepare regular reports on the performance of trade promotions, analyzing results and providing insights to the marketing team.
  • Maintain accurate records of trade marketing activities and ensure that all relevant documentation is properly filed.

Coordination with Sales and Retail Teams:

  • Support collaboration between the marketing, sales, and retail teams to ensure alignment on trade marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between trade marketing and the sales team, providing administrative support during campaign planning and execution.
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations and training materials for retail partners or sales representatives.

Market Research and Competitor Analysis:

  • Help gather market intelligence by conducting competitor analysis and monitoring industry trends.
  • Assist in tracking competitors' trade marketing activities, including promotions, pricing strategies, and distribution channels.
  • Contribute to preparing market insights and reports that support decision-making and strategy formulation.

Event and Trade Show Support:

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating trade events, conferences, and trade shows, including logistics, invitations, and materials.
  • Support the setup of promotional booths, product demonstrations, and other in-person events designed to enhance brand visibility and engagement with retail partners.

Supplier and Vendor Coordination:

  • Work with external vendors and suppliers to order promotional items, signage, and other marketing materials for trade activities.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely production and delivery of required items for marketing campaigns and events.
  • Maintain relationships with key suppliers and monitor the quality of materials received to ensure they meet brand standards.

Customer Relationship Support:

  • Assist in building and maintaining relationships with retail partners, distributors, and other external stakeholders.
  • Help coordinate meetings or calls between the trade marketing team and retail partners to discuss promotions, product launches, or marketing strategies.
  • Provide support to retailers by addressing inquiries, providing product information, or assisting with marketing campaign queries.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support to the trade marketing team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and managing calendars.
  • Assist with preparing internal communications, reports, and presentations for management or other stakeholders.
  • Maintain and organize trade marketing files and documents, ensuring that information is accessible and up-to-date.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in administrative support, marketing, or trade marketing.
