Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer – SMP (Structural, Mechanical, and Piping) to join our client's engineering team. The role is responsible for coordinating on-site construction engineering activities to achieve project cost, time, quality, and safety objectives.

The ideal candidate has strong technical and project management skills, with the ability to interpret designs, oversee construction progress, and ensure all works meet engineering standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure project plans are implemented according to designs and specifications.
  • Interpret and review designs for site implementation, providing recommendations for improvement where necessary.
  • Support procurement and contract administration processes, including contractor coordination and material requisitions.
  • Prepare construction budgets, schedules, progress reports, and quality control documentation (ITPs, ITRs, etc.).
  • Monitor progress against project timelines and budgets, reporting variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical and scheduling issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards across all project activities.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Licensed Mechanical Engineer is an advantage).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in construction, mining, or oil & gas projects.
  • Experience with Power BI or data visualization tools.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong project planning, organizational, and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Willing to work in the office full-time at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City. (Monday - Friday, 7AM to 4PM)
