Job Summary:

The Front Office Associate is responsible for providing excellent guest service from check-in to check-out, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. The role serves as the first point of contact for guests, handling inquiries, reservations, and requests while maintaining the hotel's service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Handle room assignments, key distribution, and registration processes efficiently.
  • Manage guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Process payments, verify guest information, and ensure billing accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Concierge, and other departments to meet guest needs.
  • Promote hotel facilities, services, and special offers to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Follow company procedures regarding cash handling and data privacy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Office Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or vocational course in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in front desk or customer service in a hotel or resort is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using front office systems (e.g., Opera, PMS) and Microsoft Office.
  • Pleasant personality, well-groomed, and service-oriented.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
