Position Summary

The Events Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing event projects from concept to execution, and ensuring that all deliverables meet client expectations, timelines, and budgets. This role requires strong account management, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Account Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.

Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and excellent service.

Understand client objectives, brand values, and event requirements to provide strategic recommendations.

Manage client expectations while ensuring alignment with internal capabilities.

Event Planning & Execution

Oversee end-to-end event management, including planning, budgeting, production, logistics, and post-event evaluation.

Work closely with creative, production, and operations teams to deliver seamless events.

Coordinate with suppliers, venues, and third-party vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Ensure all events adhere to safety, compliance, and brand guidelines.

Project Management

Develop event timelines, budgets, and project plans.

Track progress and ensure deadlines are met.

Manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and develop contingency plans.

Monitor event budgets and ensure profitability.

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare and present event proposals, costings, and post-event reports.

Analyze event performance against objectives/KPIs and provide insights for improvement.

Track account growth opportunities and contribute to business development.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Events Management, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in events, marketing, or account management (agency or corporate).
  • Strong client management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and event/project management tools.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
