Social Development Division Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Social Development Division covering Child Protection, Education, Health, WASH, and Disaster Risk Reduction programs.
- Oversee the full project cycle of designated (earmarked) projects, including those funded by UN agencies and other institutional donors.
- Prepare and review project proposals, concept notes, and strategic activity plans aligned with organizational and donor priorities.
- Develop and submit regular project reports and ensure compliance with donor requirements and internal monitoring systems.
- Manage Gift-in-Kind (GIK) items, including planning, logistics, inventory tracking, and fair distribution across field sites.
- Ensure effective and timely communication with Good Neighbors Korea HQ and other global offices, particularly in English.
- Oversee and guide projects related to digital literacy, youth employment, and child protection, ensuring quality and impact.
- Build and maintain networks with local government units (LGUs), DepEd, DSWD, private sector partners, and UN agencies.
- Provide leadership and performance management to division staff, ensuring professional development and accountability.
- Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-efficiency and financial compliance with donor and GN policies.
- Participate in organizational strategic planning, evaluations, and policy discussions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, Public Health, Development Studies, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing development or humanitarian projects across relevant sectors.
- Proven experience in project design and proposal writing, especially for institutional or UN donors.
- Strong skills in report writing, budget management, and financial monitoring of development programs.
- Experience managing Gift-in-Kind (GIK) projects and engaging in UN-funded or designated initiatives is highly desirable.
- Strong relationships with government agencies (e.g., DepEd, DSWD, LGUs) and private sector actors.
- Demonstrated team leadership and staff supervision experience.
- Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
