About the Role

As a Web Developer, you'll design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications while working closely with senior developers and designers. You'll help improve user experience and performance across our platforms, taking ownership of technical delivery and data-driven improvements.

Immediate Backlog to Pick Up:

• Configure n8n (or similar) to connect two apps, troubleshoot errors, and handle pagination.
• Improve the structure of product pages.
• Back-fill product data so filters are consistent.

Ongoing Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications.
• Write and edit clean, efficient code.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• Lift UX across our Shopify storefronts (IA, faceted navigation, on-page hierarchy, microcopy).
• Maintain and improve the product database (PIM → Shopify), including bulk uploads and hands-on curation.

· Use Microsoft Clarity (or similar) for heatmaps and session replays to identify UX issues, create a fix backlog, and validate improvements with simple tests.

· Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and apply them to ongoing projects.

Collaborate with web designers to match visual design intent.

Must-Have Capability Snapshot:

· Advanced automation skills (n8n or similar) and API literacy (auth, rate limits, retries, idempotency).

· Shopify theme competence (Liquid, sections, meta fields; basic HTML/CSS/JS).

· Strong data management skills (controlled vocabularies, taxonomy, CSV bulk operations) and excellent spreadsheet ability.

Confident in UX analytics – familiar with Clarity or GA4 funnels, spotting friction points, and prioritizing fixes.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.

· Proficient with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.

· Familiarity with back-end technologies such as , PHP, or Ruby on Rails.

· Experience using Git and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

· Understanding of web development concepts such as security, session management, and best practices.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
