About the role

QQ English, a leading provider of English language education, is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team in Cebu City, Cebu. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising the accounting team and ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making
  • Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the financial health of the organization

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory accounting role, preferably in the education or service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and best practices.
  • Expert-level knowledge of MS Excel, especially advanced formulas, charts and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
  • Ability to manage and process a large volume of data within tight deadlines
