JOB SUMMARY:

  • The Food Technologist in a commissary setting is responsible for developing recipes, standardizing food production processes, ensuring safety compliance and improving food quality and shelf life for large-scale food preparation and distribution. This role works closely with chefs, production teams, and quality assurance personnel to maintain consistent food quality and safety across all batches.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible in Product Development & Standardization.
  • Responsible in Production Support.
  • Responsible in Quality & Food Safety.
  • Responsible in Packaging & Logistic.
  • Preparation of Documentation & Report.
  • Assist to help maximize the production output of each team member.
  • Monitor waste and standard portioning for batch production.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in food science, food technology, or any related field.
  • Licensed is required.
  • With experience in similar role is an advantage.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and develop effective solutions is crucial for ensuring product quality and safety.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for collaborating with team members and other departments.
  • Meticulous attention to detail is required throughout the product development and production process.
  • Organizational ability, time-management skills, and leadership qualities are also highly beneficial.
