About the role

Tokyo Tokyo is seeking an experienced R&D Sr. Specialist to join our talented team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our innovative food products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

What you'll be doing

  • Evaluate & Established Alternative Supply Program for existing Items. ARME Programs in synch with SCM strategies.
  • Preparation of needed documents & keep records as a pre-requisites for every project.
  • Coordination with cross functional team & conducts laboratory in-store testing for the Back of House process simplification.
  • Recommends experimental design on technical analysis.
  • Creates ideal processes and specifications & transfers the technical know how to In-House production.
  • Can manage to develop multiple NPD projects under the Snack, Add-on and Dessert & Beverage category from concept to launch.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Preferably a Licensed Food Technologist.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar R&D role within the food industry.
  • Proven track record of developing successful food products and driving innovation especially in Snack, Add-on and Dessert & Beverage category from concept to launch.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control processes.
  • Proficient in using relevant R&D software and laboratory equipment.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willing to work in Scout Tobias, Quezon City and report full time on-site.
