About The Role
This is a hands-on senior accounting role where you'll take ownership of monthly financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of real estate entities while gaining exposure to strategic projects and process automation. Responsibilities
Monthly Financial Reporting

• Prepare complete monthly financial statement packages (narrative, balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and rent roll) for 24 individual property LLCs
• Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations for 40–45 accounts across multiple entities
• Apply accrual accounting methods in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Ensure consistency and accuracy across multiple software platforms, including AppFolio, QuickBooks, and RealPage

Accounting Operations & Oversight

• Maintain general ledger integrity for multiple entities with varying ownership structures
• Support daily and weekly accounting processes, ensuring timely completion of all transactions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and clarity in financial data

Special Projects & Process Improvements

• Lead or support automation of financial dashboards and reporting tools
• Coordinate year-end adjustments and collaborate with external CPA firms for financial review and 1099 processing
• Manage insurance renewals, vendor onboarding, and annual vendor maintenance

Growth & Strategic Involvement

• Contribute to the accounting needs of a growing property portfolio, including new real estate brokerage and third-party management opportunities
• Assist in scaling accounting processes to support future acquisitions and organizational growth

Competencies And Qualifications
Must-Have

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant, with a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP and accrual-based accounting principles.
• Proficiency in preparing comprehensive financial statements and performing bank reconciliations
• Experience maintaining general ledger integrity across multiple entities with varying ownership structure
• Property accounting experience highly preferred including CAM reconciliations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free financial reports
• Ability to identify inconsistencies and resolve discrepancies independently

Nice-to-Have

• Working knowledge of accounting and property management systems, including AppFolio, QuickBooks, and RealPage
• Familiarity with financial dashboard automation tools and a continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to lead or support technology-driven efficiency initiatives
• Familiarity with AI tools for dashboard setups is also valued.\

Technical Requirements

• Laptop or desktop computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM
• With at least 128GB SSD/HDD or higher
• Intel Core i5 processor (or equivalent)
• Headset (preferable noise canceling microphone)
• Fast/Stable and Reliable Internet Connection (At least 30 Mbps)
• An external monitor is essential
