Role SummaryThe Research Manager will report to the Head of Research and Trends. In this role, they will work with commercial, partnership, product and marketing managers to uncover unique competitive insights that drive business outcomes. The candidate will lead Brand Health, NPS and CES research initiatives for Singapore, Pakistan and beyond, and support other customer and consumer research initiatives for Circles current and potential global markets.
We are looking for quick learners, self-starters and strategic thinkers with strong execution skills. The ideal candidate should be familiar with DIY tools and software (SurveyMonkey, Toluna Start, UserTesting, DisplayR, etc.) or be tech-savvy and able to pick them up quickly. When required, they will work with research agencies on relevant projects. They will also contribute to thought leadership within Circles.Life (research newsletter, synthesis, and external thought leadership blog).
Responsibilities- Fulfill monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting for Brand Health, CES and NPS programs
- Identify stakeholder research needs and formulate research plans
- Build clear project timelines and manage stakeholder expectations
- Manage vendor relationships as needed
- Develop business-relevant analysis plans
- Explore data from multiple angles to uncover deep insights
- Write analytical storylines and create visualisations to illustrate insights
- Present insights to stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner
- Synthesize findings from internal and external sources
- Maintain best practices in brand, communication and experience measurement
- Contribute to the monthly Research and Trends newsletter
The ideal candidate should possess the following: 5-7 years of experience in brand consultancy, consumer insight or market research (agency or client side).
Must have:
- Able to work with stakeholders from manager level and up
- Able to prioritise and manage projects well
- Comfortable with both quantitative and qualitative research
- Intermediate knowledge of statistics (significance tests, sampling, regression, correlations, driver analysis)
- Advanced knowledge of brand and communication tracking and creative development
- Advanced knowledge of branding and advertising
- Advanced knowledge of customer experience research and management
- Strategic and tactical thinking with strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate independently
- Self-discipline and drive
- Integrity, respect for others, humility, and willingness to learn
- Boldness and willingness to innovate
