Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst with strong SQL and Big Data expertise to join our team. The role will be responsible for querying and analyzing large datasets, building data models, and providing actionable insights to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate should have solid technical experience in SQL, Google BigQuery, and data analysis tools, combined with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large-scale datasets.
  • Work with Google Cloud BigQuery and other cloud-based tools for data processing and management.
  • Use Python or R to perform advanced statistical analysis and build data-driven solutions.
  • Leverage Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, reporting, and visualization.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL processes for efficient data integration and transformation.
  • Build segmentation models and conduct in-depth analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and insights.
  • Present findings in a clear, concise manner to stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
  • At least 2+ years of hands-on SQL coding/writing experience, preferably with Big Data platforms such as Google BigQuery.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis and automation.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data modeling, and data integration tools.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, macros preferred).
  • Familiarity with segmentation models, statistical methods, and data visualization techniques.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
