Summary:

The Accounting Assistant / Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations of the branch.

Focusing on: Managing system-related processes. Overseeing payables and collections, Timely deposit to the bank, Ensuring the proper filing and safekeeping of financial documents. This position ensures compliance with accounting policies and supports the Head Office in reporting and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Support and Coordination

  • Act as the branch liaison for all accounting and ERP system-related concerns (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.)
  • Ensure accurate encoding of collections and invoices in the system

2. Accounts Receivable and Collections

  • Monitor customer accounts and aging of receivables
  • Follow up on collections with Sales Department and update the system accordingly
  • Coordinate with the Sales or Operations team on any collection issues

3. Document Filing and Compliance

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records (ORs and invoices)
  • Compile and review billings from suppliers and service providers prior to forwarding to head office
  • Support in preparing documents for internal and external audits
  • Assists in government compliance but not limited to BIR, Barangay and LGU

4. Reporting Support

  • Submit daily/weekly/monthly collection summaries to the Head Office
  • Assist in the preparation of bank deposit slips and petty cash replenishment

5. Bank

  • Handle cash deposits and withdrawals in coordination with authorized personnel.
  • Ensure all cash and check collections are deposited promptly and properly recorded.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Must be a team player
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Experience with accounting system or any ERP is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php20, Php27,000.00 per month
