A. Job Description

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all types of forklifts (gasoline, diesel, and electric units) according to manufacturer schedules.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on forklifts, pallet jacks, and related material-handling equipment.
  • Inspect, adjust, or replace forklift components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, steering, lift chains, masts, and tires.
  • Test and troubleshoot hydraulic systems and circuits using diagnostic tools and equipment (flow meters, multimeters, and calibrators).
  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair hydraulic hoses and fittings according to precise specifications and safety standards.
  • Conduct teardown and evaluation of components received for repair and ensure proper documentation.
  • Maintain and update maintenance records, repair logs, and hydraulic parts inventory to support efficient operations.
  • Tag and isolate defective units to prevent unsafe use and ensure all equipment meets safety compliance standards.
  • Keep the work area organized, clean, and safe, following company safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  • Assist in operator safety trainings or toolbox talks as needed.

B. What we're looking for

  • Graduate of a Vocational or Technical course in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or equivalent.
  • TESDA certification or related technical training in hydraulics or mechanical repair is an advantage.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in forklift maintenance, repair, or hydraulic systems.
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and mechanical skills.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical troubleshooting, and basic welding preferred.
  • Ability to read repair manuals and technical schematics.
  • Safety-conscious, reliable, and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically fit and able to handle tools, parts, and equipment safely.

Job Type: Full-time
