- Inspection and Testing: Conduct routine visual and physical inspections and diagnostic tests on canisters to determine if repairs or retesting are required.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on damaged container components, which may include structural damage, doors, panels, valves, and electrical or hydraulic systems, depending on the container type.
- Welding and Fabrication: Perform welding and fabrication duties as needed during repairs or parts assembly.
- Safe Handling and Operation: Safely handle, lift, load, and unload canisters, which may involve using load hoses, meters, gauges, and operating a forklift or other heavy equipment.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company, local, state, and federal safety regulations. Complete and submit detailed work orders, inspection forms, and maintenance reports in a timely manner.
- Inventory Management: Manage the stock of replacement parts and supplies, requisitioning new parts as needed.
- Work Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work area, free of debris or safety hazards.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
· At least 1-2 years of experience
· Knowledgeable of LPG safety procedures, repair and testing methods
· Physically fit and able to handle heavy tools
· TESDA NC II / III in relevant field (welding, mechanical, electrical)
