Job Overview:
We are seeking an Accounts & Payroll Officer This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant payroll and accounts operations for the organization. You will manage end-to-end payroll processing, maintain employee records, handle deductions and superannuation, and provide excellent support to staff and management for all payroll-related queries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end weekly and fortnightly payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Manage payroll queries and maintain the payroll email inbox professionally.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of PAYG, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation.
- Maintain and update payroll and employee records in compliance with company standards.
- Process deductions, reimbursements, and allowances as required.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting and submission.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
- Comply with all HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Accounts or Payroll Officer, ideally in a large or multinational organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and database management.
- Experience using Pronto Software or similar accounting/ERP systems (e.g., Xero, MYOB, SAP).
- Solid knowledge of payroll regulations, awards, enterprise agreements, and statutory compliance (PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax).
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.
- Experience in the mining, engineering, or resources industry and familiarity with Australian payroll systems and regulations are an advantage.
- Willing to work in the office full-time at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City. (Monday - Friday, 7AM to 4PM)
