Accounting Officer (Onsite – Ortigas Center, Pasig)

Schedule:

  • Fixed Day Shift
  • Fixed Weekends Off

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Officer to support our finance operations. This role involves payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable tasks, and other ad hoc requests.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Payroll

  • Process payroll accurately and on time
  • Interpret timesheets (normal and overtime hours)
  • Manage 50+ timesheets per fortnight with precision

2. Accounts Payable

  • Raise purchase orders
  • Verify and process supplier invoices
  • Reconcile supplier invoices with supplier statements
  • Assist with supplier payment runs

3. Accounts Receivable

  • Set up client orders and generate invoices
  • Monitor and follow up on debtor payments

4. Ad hoc requests as required

5. Future Responsibilities (if applicable):

  • Labour hire management, including accurate recording and submission of labour hire timesheets
  • Assist with monthly reports aligned with business requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years accounting experience
  • Knowledge of MYOB is a plus but not required
  • Experience with Strumis & Roshtek is an advantage
  • Previous experience supporting AU, US, or other international clients preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Detail-oriented and reliable, especially in payroll
  • Professional approach in dealing with suppliers and debtors
  • Willingness to learn and adapt across finance operations
