As a
Financial
Controller
, you'll take ownership of core accounting operations-from revenue and payroll to audits and compliance-ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and integrity in every financial process. You'll collaborate with leaders to enhance systems, refine reporting, and deliver strategic financial insights that shape the company's global direction.

The Qualifications We Seek

• At least
  12 years of professional accounting experience
  with a strong foundation in financial management and reporting.
• Minimum of
  7 years working with US-based companies
  , with a
  solid understanding of US GAAP
  principles and compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
  ;
  CPA license
  required.
• Big 4 experience
  highly preferred for exposure to top-tier accounting standards and practices.
• Experience in startup or
  SaaS environments
  is a plus, demonstrating adaptability to dynamic business structures.
• Familiarity with
  ASC 606
  (Revenue Recognition) is an advantage.
• Exceptionally system savvy and able to troubleshoot systems independently
• Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable software such as Airbase
• Strong and proactive communicator who collaborates effectively with cross-functional leaders
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to work in the US time zone
• Requires a high-speed internet connection (minimum 20 Gbps) and a back-up connection

Your Daily Tasks

• Own all aspects of accounting operations
• Manage Accounts Receivable and revenue accounting including customer invoicing, payment applications, collections, and revenue recognition under ASC 606
• Oversee payroll processes, payroll taxes, and cash flow management
• Manage corporate income tax and sales tax matters
• Supervise Accounts Payable (credit cards, reimbursements, vendor bills), and banking
• Oversee employee reimbursements
• Manage month-end close and prepare both internal and external reporting in compliance with US GAAP
• Act as the main liaison for annual external audits
• Evaluate and implement new systems, processes, and policies for financial efficiency
• Ensure internal policies and communications remain current and accurate
• Collaborate on various projects and provide ad-hoc financial reports
