McCoy Philippines, a trusted SAP Gold Partner, is expanding its team We're looking for a highly experienced SAP Basis Consultant with strong User & Role Administration expertise to support complex SAP environments across multiple industries. In this role, you will bridge both technical and business domains, ensuring seamless communication and understanding to deliver meaningful impact to our customers.


What You'll Do

SAP Basis Administration

  • Manage and monitor SAP systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Perform system installations, upgrades, and migrations for SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other SAP solutions.
  • Implement and maintain SAP transport management, user administration, and security protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to SAP Basis and the overall system landscape.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to provide technical support during project implementations and upgrades.
  • Optimize system performance through tuning, EWA (EarlyWatch Alert), and continuous monitoring of SAP applications and databases.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and best practices to ensure compliance, stability, and efficiency.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

User & Role Administration

  • Manage and configure SAP users, roles, and authorizations.
  • Design and implement SAP security roles based on business requirements.
  • Perform role maintenance and troubleshoot authorization issues.
  • Ensure proper Segregation of Duties (SoD) across SAP landscapes.
  • Work closely with SAP functional and technical teams to integrate security solutions effectively.
  • Document all SAP security processes, issues, and changes in a clear and structured manner.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and end users on security best practices.

Security Design & Development (Good to Have)

  • Collaborate with functional teams to design security roles and profiles for SAP modules (e.g., FI, MM, HR).
  • Assist in security-related requirements during SAP implementations, upgrades, and migrations.

Who You Are
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Consultant.
  • Proficient in both technical and business domains, with the ability to bridge gaps and ensure effective communication.
  • Strong background in SAP ECC and S/4HANA system administration, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Skilled in user & role administration, SAP security, authorization troubleshooting, and SoD principles.
  • Adept at resolving complex technical issues and maintaining high system reliability and performance.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to documentation and best practices.
  • Collaborative and experienced in providing mentorship to junior team members.
  • Staying updated with SAP technologies and industry standards is important to you.
