Position: Senior SAP Basis Solution Architect / Senior Solution Architect

Modules: BASIS

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia or Philippines

• Performing end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Upgrade, Conversion, and Migration to SAP RISE or SAP Cloud ERP Private environment.

• Perform HANA Database administration (including backup, restore, setup HANA System Replication, setup table partitioning) and monitoring.

• Perform SAP BTP system and user Administration

• Perform SAP system copies for SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, and NW Java in Windows or UNIX operating system with database HANA, Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, and Sybase ASE

• Monitor and troubleshoot SAP system performance.

• Perform problem-solving in user access provisioning activities.

• Analyze and resolve authorization issues and security threats.

• Document (existing) SAP authorization concepts and ensure up-to-date system documentation.

• Support role testing during project implementation phases.

• Configure, maintain, and administer SAP Security and authorizations.

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, PI/PO, and other NetWeaver-based environments.

• Perform SAP system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SAP solutions.

• Ensure compliance with security and data protection policies.

• Provide support and resolution for technical and user issues.

• Execute ad-hoc duties or tasks as assigned by the Manager.

• 8+ years of SAP BASIS experience; certification preferred.

• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA administration, upgrade, migration, conversion, monitoring, and performance tuning.

• Proficient in managing SAP on RISE, SAP Cloud ERP Private, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

• Skilled in SAP authorization management and troubleshooting access/security issues.

• Strong pre-sales and customer-facing communication skills.

• Flexible with shift-based work.

Technical Competencies

• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA upgrades, conversions, and migrations.

• SAP BTP system and user administration experience.

• System copy expertise across SAP landscapes (S/4HANA, ECC, BW, NW Java) on Windows/UNIX with HANA, Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, Sybase.

• Installation/configuration of SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, BW, PI/PO).

• Proficient with SAP-supported databases and OS (HANA, ASE, MaxDB, SQL, Oracle; Windows, SUSE, RHEL).

• Experienced with SAP tools (SWPM, SUM) and basic IT networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).

• Familiar with SAP Security and Authorization concepts.

• Effective in cross-functional team environments.
