Position Overview

The Payroll & Timekeeping Officer is responsible for accurately processing payroll, maintaining timekeeping records, and ensuring compliance with statutory benefits and government-mandated reporting requirements. This role plays a key part in supporting employee satisfaction and ensuring timely and accurate compensation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Maintain and monitor employee timekeeping records, attendance logs, and leave balances.
  • Handle statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR) contributions and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and government-mandated reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to management and government agencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records and payroll data.
  • Coordinate with HR and management on payroll concerns, adjustments, and updates.
  • Provide assistance to employees regarding payroll and timekeeping inquiries.
  • Continuously review and improve payroll and timekeeping processes for efficiency.
  • Assist in other HR facets such as recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR documentation as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in payroll processing and/or timekeeping.
  • Strong knowledge of timekeeping systems, payroll procedures, and statutory benefits.
  • Familiarity with Philippine labor laws and reporting requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with HRIS or payroll systems is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Willing to work onsite in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php25,000.00 per month
