WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY

He/She will be responsible for the overall Warehouse & Logistics operations which includes organizing, monitoring, storage, issuance, and shipment of goods. Responsible for smooth and efficient management of inbound & outbound logistics and distribution activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads and manages the area of support groups in Supply Chain – warehouse and logistics.
  • Leads the performance improvement plan and operational efficiency initiatives to support company strategic plans
  • Manages warehouse capacity, daily output process, headcount and staff hour.
  • Educate team members in identifying key performance improvement indicators, targeting opportunities for improvement, adopting best practice processes and successfully executing improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and utilize process improvements to continually improve operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure productivity, safety, and quality goals are achieved through a continuous process improvement.
  • Responsible for keeping people safe at their work sites. keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health, safety, and environment standards.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and manage stock movements, First Expiration, First Out (FEFO) picking, leads in stock cycle count, ensure space utilization.
  • Ensure delivery schedules are met as per schedule
  • Keep track of day to day operations - delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • Manage company fleet, including periodic maintenance checks
  • Manage, coach and develop a high performing team members
  • Deliver solutions to warehouse and logistics problems while maintaining high level of quality and service within budgetary requirements
  • Create and implement best practices, policies and processes to improve operational and financial performance.
  • Monitors and ensures that all deliveries – incoming and outgoing have the right documentation.
  • Investigates delivery discrepancy report / stock inaccuracy
  • Monitors returns section in terms of pull out schedules, documentation, pull out discrepancies, updating in SAP system.
  • In charge of Facilities Management – oversee housekeeping, constructions, minor/major repairs across the organization.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain Management or any related field
  • With at least five (5) years of operations experience in supply chain management, logistics management or distribution in healthcare or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in warehouse, transport and logistics management
  • Knowledge in SAP is a plus.
  • Must be able to analyze and structure reports to answer warehouse and logistics inquiries
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, planning and negotiation skills
  • People and management skills, effective team leader
  • Efficiently carry out tasks independently, generate accurate and high-quality reports
  • Interpersonally savvy and able to collaborate and efficiently work with people at any level.
  • Exceptional time-management and superb organizational skills
  • Mastery of MS Office Applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Commitment to act with integrity and professionalism
  • Proactive and highly innovative in approaching problem-solving efficiently.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
