Established in 2024, BNP Paribas Solutions Philippines Branch is a branch of BNP Paribas Group, a leading bank in Europe with an international reach. We provide support services, back-office operations services related to or which further the accomplishment of the corporation's investment services, banking transaction processing, and equity investment.

Position Purpose
To facilitate settlement of Client trades in the relevant Settlement Center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all Client Trades are processed into settlement system without any error and processing to market terminal. (from trade capture to smooth settlement)
  • Monitoring of client execution and provide timely reporting to client on status and short positions.
  • Liaising with various internal and external stakeholders for any static requirement/setup/account manager follow-ups to ensure the trade settlement has no impact.
  • Monitoring of client trades and market terminals of SGX , ASX , HKEX , Euroclear, clearstream close to respective market cut-off for any last-minute requirements or adjustment in transactions.
  • Ensuring Settled trades confirmation are flown between market terminal and BNP system and perform reconciliation to ensure there is no deviation between both systems.
  • Investigate on fail trades and report to client with exact failing reason on daily basis.
  • Ensure proper control are in place on validation of MT103/ MT202 payments related to margin posting and ensure SSIs are correct.
  • Preparation of Journal posting for Fees/Maintenance with Settlement Bank/ Interest Charges.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance, or any related fields
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Trade Settlements / Custody
  • A comprehensive understanding of securities products and the overall Trade Lifecycle Process
  • Expertise in Using Banking Softwares & overall awareness of using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
