About the Role

As a Transactional Processing Support Officer for Australian Mortgage, you'll support the Account Manager with day-to-day processing, helping to meet SLAs and provide exceptional service. You'll play a key role in managing loan transactions, maintaining compliance, and assisting borrowers with their servicing needs.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Process loan transactions including borrower payments, direct debits/credits, loan variations, repayment changes, and rate adjustments with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and update loan records to reflect security updates, loan advances, and other critical changes throughout the loan lifecycle.
  • Support arrears management by assisting with overdue account monitoring and actioning related tasks to minimize delinquency.
  • Respond promptly to customer and borrower inquiries, ensuring efficient issue resolution and high service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards, while meeting SLAs and participating in training to stay aligned with industry best practices.

About You:

  • At least 1 year of experience in lending or residential mortgage processing; familiarity with the Australian mortgage market is a strong advantage.
  • Strong customer service skills with a client-focused mindset and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance across all loan servicing tasks.
  • Tech-savvy with intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook to manage daily workflows efficiently.
  • Self-driven and adaptable, with a proactive approach to learning, meeting deadlines, and working independently in a fast-paced environment.
