About the role

We are seeking an Accounting/Finance Staff to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is based in our Makati City office in Metro Manila. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the company's financial operations and contribute to our continued success.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing general accounting duties such as recording transactions, preparing financial statements, and reconciling accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and processing payments
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
  • Providing administrative support to the finance and accounting teams as required
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth financial processes

What we're looking for

  • Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and small practice accounting principles
