We are seeking a skilled Treasury Manager with experience in the retail sector to oversee and manage the company's treasury operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cash management, liquidity planning, risk management, and financial controls within a retail environment. This role ensures effective management of working capital, funding strategies, and financial risk to support the company's growth and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash positions, liquidity forecasting, and working capital optimization tailored to retail business cycles and seasonality.
  • Develop and maintain banking relationships, negotiate credit facilities, and manage cash flow to ensure operational needs are consistently met.
  • Oversee treasury operations including payments, collections, and cash concentration strategies specific to retail sales channels.
  • Implement treasury risk management strategies, including foreign exchange, interest rate risks, and credit risk mitigation relevant to retail markets.
  • Coordinate with accounting, procurement, and sales teams to reconcile treasury accounts, validate cash forecasts, and optimize cash conversion cycles.
  • Monitor and report on treasury metrics such as cash flow variances, KPIs, and treasury compliance with policies and internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards impacting treasury activities.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior treasury staff and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years treasury experience with at least 3 years in a retail or consumer goods environment.
  • Strong understanding of retail cash flow drivers, inventory cycles, and payment systems.
  • Proficiency in treasury management systems (TMS), ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Excel modeling.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php80, Php120,000.00 per month
