Project Manager (Web/Application Development – Financial Services)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end project management initiatives in web and application development within the financial services industry. The role involves managing full project lifecycles, ensuring compliance with IT standards and governing bodies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all activities across the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing.
  • Prepare project charters and business cases, including securing funding approval.
  • Develop, monitor, and track work plans to achieve project goals.
  • Implement governance structures for risk, issues, and change management.
  • Ensure compliance with IT standards, policies, and financial regulators (e.g., Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, AMLA Council).
  • Review and enhance internal project management processes in line with enterprise policies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams (Business, Technical, Operations, Legal, Procurement, etc.) to clarify requirements and deliver business cases.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage outside vendors to support project delivery.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of solid experience in end-to-end project management, preferably in financial services.
  • Strong background in web/application development projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management practices and concepts.
  • PMP or Prince2 certification preferred (not required).
  • Agile/SCRUM/ITIL training or certification preferred (not required).
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor management skills.
  • Willing to work onsite in Makati or Ortigas.
