Automation Engineer

Position Overview

Cloud Connect WA is looking for an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions that help enhance both client ICT systems and internal operations.

This role involves hands-on technical work using Microsoft Power Platform and related tools, ensuring all automations meet high standards of quality, security, and documentation.

We're looking for someone who's detail-oriented, proactive, and communicative—a team player who can balance technical excellence with effective collaboration.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical

• Design and build automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and other relevant tools.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve automation issues efficiently and professionally.
• Create and maintain clear, accurate documentation for all solutions.
• Manage automation projects from planning to delivery, collaborating closely with team members.
• Follow established Change Management processes and ensure maximum system uptime.
• Apply best practices in automation design to support reliability and scalability.

Commercial

• Accurately log work hours in ConnectWise PSA.
• Meet daily and weekly billable targets for the Projects & Automation Team.
• Identify and share opportunities to improve client ICT systems.
• Build trust with clients through transparency, consistency, and expertise.
• Suggest internal improvements that support company goals and overall efficiency.

Team Leadership

• Offer guidance and mentorship to teammates on automation tools, design, and troubleshooting when needed.

Quality Management / Administration

• Ensure all work meets company quality and performance standards.
• Help standardize and document configurations, procedures, and workflows.
• Keep all documentation accurate and updated in ITGlue or other company repositories.

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Support the Service Desk by sharing knowledge and providing assistance when needed.
• Collaborate with Sales, Administration, and Accounts teams by offering technical insights or necessary documentation.

HR / Safety

• Always follow Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) best practices.
• Adhere to company employment policies and contractual agreements.
• Maintain a strong cybersecurity mindset in all work activities.
• Work responsibly to ensure a safe environment for yourself and others.

Other Responsibilities

• Contribute actively to process improvements and system enhancement initiatives.
• Support senior engineers and management in delivering projects and exploring new innovations.
• Stay flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, client-focused work setting.

• Achievement of individual and team billable targets.
• Quality, reliability, and thorough documentation of delivered automation solutions.
• Compliance with Change Management and OHS procedures.
• Positive contribution to client satisfaction and process improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
• Good understanding of scripting, APIs, and automation frameworks.
• Experience with ConnectWise PSA and ITGlue is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong skills in documentation, time management, and communication.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.

Work Setup

• Onsite work arrangement
• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php70,000.00 per month
